Strategic Plan

We are delighted to announce the AIRE Centre's new Strategic Plan for 2025-30. This plan is our renewed commitment to creating a future where all people are able to enjoy their fundamental rights under European law. Whether that be for domestic abuse survivors, asylum seekers, children, survivors of human trafficking or others, our expert advice and legal knowledge is a critical tool in the armoury of change.

This plan was developed in collaboration with staff, funders, beneficiaries, and frontline agencies that know and value the AIRE Centre’s work. We listened to those who use our service, who represent us in Court, and who fund this work to guide where we have the greatest impact and what we can amplify.

As we see the continuing rise of populism and associated challenges to the rule of law in the UK, and across Europe, the AIRE Centre's specialist expertise and proactive approach to deploying this strategically on behalf of some of the most vulnerable in our society, is more important than ever.

Our new strategy is a commitment to develop our systems to reach more individuals who need our services, increase our capacity for domestic litigation in the UK and to grow our impact as a pre-eminent litigator in Strasbourg. There is no doubt the next 5 years will present challenges, for us and the individuals we support, but the AIRE Centre is ready to meet those challenges

We look forward to working with current partnerships, and developing new ones, in order to meet the challenging world we find ourselves in.
