EuroBrits Greece

The AIRE Centre is here to help UK nationals and their family members who moved to Greece before 1 January 2021 apply for the new biometric residence permits. If you require assistance with this process, contact us at [email protected].

We are also operating a phone helpline for those who do not have access to emails or the internet. The line is open from 4pm to 7pm local time on Mondays and Wednesdays and 10am to 1pm local time on Tuesdays. If you or anyone you know is in this situation, please call 0030 698 85 91 229

Information Sheets

We are producing a series of information sheets designed to provide practical information to UK nationals seeking to secure their residence in Greece. We want these sheets to be as helpful as possible and want to know if they have supported you in obtaining a residence permit or if they have assisted you to help someone else do so. Please help us to improve our service by giving us feedback on these resources HERE.

Events

The AIRE Centre's EuroBrits Greece team is running a series of virtual appointments. UK nationals who need assistance with applying for the new biometric residence permits can contact us at [email protected] to book an appointment. These appointments are designed for people facing significant difficulties applying for the new permits. We also offer phone appointments for those without access to the internet.

Appointments are available for UK nationals in the following locations on the following dates in March:

  • The Dodecanese and the Cyclades: 1 March to 5 March
  • Crete: 8 March to 19 March
  • The Ionian islands: 22 March to 26 March

We have already held appointments for UK nationals on the islands of the Ionian sea, the Peloponnese, the islands of the Northern Aegean sea, Attica, Central Macedonia, Western Macedonia, Eastern Macedonia, central Greece and Epirus. More virtual appointments in more locations will be made announced in the coming weeks!

AIRE Centre residence information sessions Crete

The AIRE Centre travelled to Crete on 10th to 17th June to offer confidential one to one information sessions for UK Nationals about securing their residence rights in Greece. The sessions were free and open to anyone in need of individual assistance, but we tried in particular to reach those who do not have access to the internet or the phone.

We will be planning more visits and opportunities for face to face assistance across Greece throughout the year.
