We help legal practitioners and judges improve their knowledge of European law through specialist legal training

At the AIRE Centre we offer training sessions for lawyers, judges and voluntary-sector organisations to ensure a better understanding of European law and the European Convention on Human Rights.

[This includes our projects strengthening the rule of law in the Western Balkans, which we have run for over fifteen years in order to ensure the proper implementation of judgments from the European Court of Human Rights.]

[We also believe that working in partnership with other organisations is crucial to our success. This is not just legal practitioners who have provided their services pro bono, but also many front line organisations and service providers such as Citizens Advice Bureaux (CABs), Hope For Justice, Eaves, the Poppy Project and the Law Centres Network.]

We do this through training which strengthens the voluntary sector so they are better able to provide advice and support, thereby working together to improve access to justice for vulnerable migrants, collectively improving their outcomes.
