The report, prepared by eminent legal experts from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Albania and Kosovo, provides a thorough overview of the mechanisms for the statistical recording of asset recovery cases in each of these jurisdictions.

The main findings of the report will, on 9 December 2020, be presented to the representatives of the Ministries of Justice, agencies managing the seized and confiscated assets, judges, prosecutors from Southeast Europe, representatives of embassies and international organizations. Participants will benefit from the opportunity to discuss methods of statistical recording of asset seizure cases and share good practice in the region.

The AIRE Centre is grateful to the Government of the United Kingdom for financing the development of the report, and to British Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina HMA Matthew Field for his participation in the online presentation.
