Myrto has been associated with the AIRE Centre since July 2020 and became the Project Coordinator for the AIRE Centre's EuroBrits project in May 2021.

The project aims to help at-risk UK nationals in Bulgaria, Greece, Iceland and Norway secure their residence status now that the UK has left the EU. The Eurobrits team consists of in addition to the Project Coordinator, Nuala Mole, the Project Director and Markella Papadouli, the Project Legal Officer for Greece, a project intern and a team of national legal experts and Project Assistants for each of our target countries.

Her role involves planning, coordinating and executing the different forms of assistance we are offering to at-risk UK nationals. This includes drafting information sheets, building our digital resources and producing written letters of assistance. 

Myrto holds an LL.B. and an LL.M (with distinction) from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, while she was granted an excellence award as the first in rank graduate in postgraduate studies in Public International Law. Prior to joining the AIRE Centre, Myrto worked as a practising attorney in Greece and has worked pro bono for Koutra Law Offices where she assisted in drafting applications to the European Court of Human Rights. Myrto has also been training the team of undergraduate students of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens representing the University to the European Human Rights Moot Court Competition for the last 5 years.
