The AIRE Centre records with great sadness the death on December 1^st of Lord Kerr who had only recently retired after being the longest serving judge on the UK Supreme Court.

Lord Kerr’s fine intellect was accompanied by a deep commitment to justice and humanity. It was only recently, on 2^nd November, that the AIRE Centre’s Founder had the honour to join Lord Kerr in a public conversation convened by Garden Court Chambers during which he spoke eloquently and modestly about his life in the law.

He will be greatly missed.
