Call for National Contact Points

22 November 2018

We're looking for National Contact Points for our "Strengthening Anti-Corruption Activities in the South East Europe by Improving Asset Seizure Measures" program

The AIRE Centre and the Regional Anti-Corruption Initiative (RAI) are implementing a two-year regional program titled "Strengthening Anti-Corruption Activities in the South East Europe by Improving Asset Seizure Measures". The project will strengthen the capacity of key institutions (in particular the prosecution, the judiciary, judicial training institutions, law enforcement and asset management agencies) to effectively implement asset recovery measures in cases of corruption and organised crime, by ensuring that the domestic practices are in line with international and European legislative and regulatory standards in the context of asset recovery, and by strengthening international cooperation in criminal matters in the Western Balkans and South East Europe.

To that end, the AIRE Centre and the RAI are looking for National Contact Points. NCPs are well-established national experts on rule of law, who will be tasked with supporting project implementation by managing the needs and expectations of national institutions in each jurisdiction. NCPs support domestic buy-in and ownership of all project results; support the development of project outputs and a project monitoring mechanism; and serve, together with the Project Manager, as points of contact with other relevant projects in order to develop synergies and coordinate work.

The assignment may occasionally require travel in the Western Balkans region.
