Information Note on the Council of Europe Convention on Action against Trafficking on Human Beings and Non Punishment of Trafficking Victims
‘The Anti-Trafficking Convention’ (2005) was ratified by the United Kingdom on 17 December 2008 and entered into force on 1 April 2009. This Convention has now been acceded to by 39 of the Council of Europe Member States. It has also been signed, but not ratified, by four other Member States.
