Human Rights Act 1998 came into force on 2 October 2000 and incorporates
into English law substantial parts of the European Convention on
Human Rights. The AIRE Centre has litigated on behalf of many individuals
before the European Court of Human Rights. Through our experience
we aim to bring accessible and simple advice on the rights and freedoms
protected by the European Convention on Human Rights.
